Course Structure: Three 50-minute classes per week

Course Description

As one of the required courses for students majoring in Chinese Language and Literature, this course instructs systematically the contemporary trends of thought in literature, movements, literary phenomena and prominent writers and works mainly from the perspective of literary history, so as to summarize the regular pattern and experience and lessons of literary development, also to enables students, in an all-round way, to get acquired with the main characteristics and fundamental features of contemporary literature, grasp related specialized knowledge, enhance the abilities of reading, appreciating and analyzing contemporary literary works.
