Course Description

Course Description

In Chapter1—Chapter4 is an introduction to the basic principles and the basic concepts of organic chemistry. Eg. Acids- Bases Theory, Covalent Bonds Theory, Solvent Effect, Inductive and Resonance effects, Nomenclature of Organic Compound, Stereochemistry, Spectroscopy.

Chapter5—Chapter17 introduce structure, properties, synthesis of the compounds with functional groups.

The course also provides an introduction to the Different types of organic reaction and important mechanisms.
